Job summary

Katalyst Data Management (KDM) in Sevenoaks, Kent, UK, is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support across UK locations. You will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and access issues, working with global IT teams to coordinate complex fixes. This role requires Windows and Linux experience, strong communication, and willingness to travel between Sevenoaks and Sittingbourne.

Core hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Qualifications

Technical IT qualification or equivalent hands-on IT support experience.
Experience providing desktop/infrastructure IT support across multiple sites.
Experience with Windows, Linux, Microsoft 365, networking and hardware troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot hardware issues involving workstations, laptops, printers and peripherals.
Resolve user access and login issues, including VPN and M365 accounts.
Install, configure, and upgrade software on Windows and Linux systems.
Troubleshoot network connectivity, Wi-Fi, VPN links between sites.
Provide on-site IT support at Sevenoaks and Sittingbourne locations.
Maintain IT assets, records, and support requests; assist hardware team with tape drives.
