Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Site Infrastructure Engineer for a field-based role across the South East, covering Southampton, Kent and beyond. You will be the go-to technical contact for multiple operational sites, supporting LAN/WAN, hardware, and Microsoft 365 environments.

You will travel between sites, install and maintain IT hardware, coordinate third-party suppliers and document technical solutions, while communicating clearly with non-technical colleagues.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT support or infrastructure experience across multi-site environments.
• Experience with LAN/WAN troubleshooting and network hardware.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Windows 11 environments.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
• Ability to communicate with non-technical colleagues and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, switches, routers and wireless access points across sites.
• Install and decommission laptops, desktops, printers, scanners and mobile devices.
• Support Microsoft 365 and Windows 11 environments.
• Assist with data and voice cabling, termination and site interconnections.
• Coordinate third‑party suppliers during installations and fault resolution.
• Produce and maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Field-based role across the South East, travelling between sites.
