Job summary

Sofina Foods Europe is recruiting an IT Infrastructure & Operations Engineer to maintain and improve our technology across the UK. You will work in the Infrastructure & Operations team to keep systems secure, reliable and resilient while supporting growth and continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders across multiple sites, handling operational support and hands-on technical tasks, incident management, service levels, and on-call rotations to ensure

Qualifications

• Experience supporting IT infrastructure and operational services.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software and infrastructure platforms.
• Good understanding of cyber security principles and security‑focused design.
• Experience working with service levels, incident management and continuous improvement.
• The ability to communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical colleagues.
• Knowledge of server environments, data centres or infrastructure technologies.
• A flexible approach to supporting business needs, including out‑of‑hours support.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between locations when required.

Responsibilities

• Support and develop IT and Operational Technology infrastructure across our sites.
• Help deliver reliable, secure and high‑performing infrastructure services.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes and drive effective resolutions.
• Work with third‑party providers to ensure service levels are achieved.
• Monitor trends and recommend improvements to enhance service performance.
• Manage and support the lifecycle of end‑user devices and related technologies.
• Participate in an on‑call or shift rota to support business‑critical systems.
• Promote security, compliance and IT best practices across the business.
