Job summary

Sofina Foods is seeking a proactive Multi-Skilled Engineer for our Haverhill site in the UK to keep production running safely and reliably. You will maintain plant and equipment, respond to breakdowns, drive continuous improvement and support TPM across the lines.

The ideal candidate holds an NVQ Level 3 in Engineering with strong electrical and mechanical knowledge and experience in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge across disciplines.
• Experience in manufacturing or production environment.
• Understanding of health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Experience with continuous improvement and TPM principles.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns.
• Maintain factory plant and production equipment for reliability.
• Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production to minimise downtime and improve efficiency.
• Ensure all activities comply with site safety procedures.
