Job summary

Sofina Foods Europe is seeking a Site Services Engineer to keep our manufacturing operation running safely, efficiently and reliably on a 4 on 4 off days shift (05:30 – 17:30). You will deliver frontline support to site services equipment and utilities, perform planned and reactive maintenance, and work with water, steam, air and refrigeration systems to minimise downtime.

You will diagnose faults, implement robust fixes, and uphold health, safety, and environmental standards while collaborating

Qualifications

• Welding and fabrication experience is essential.
• Experience with boiler operation and maintenance is essential.
• Familiarity with water, steam, air and refrigeration plant systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-response engineering support to site services equipment and utilities.

Working as part of a dedicated Site Services team, you'll provide first-response engineering support across essential utilities and help minimise downtime in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. 4 on 4 off shift pattern, days - 05:30 – 17:30.

Key Duties

As a Site Services Engineer, you'll support the delivery of reliable site services that keep production moving safely and efficiently.

You will:

• Deliver first-response engineering support to site services equipment and utilities

Ideal Candidate

• Experienced in a manufacturing, food production or factory environment
• Qualified in welding and fabrication (essential)
• Knowledgeable in boiler operation and maintenance (essential)
• Familiar with water, steam, air and refrigeration plant systems
• A practical problem-solver with strong fault-finding skills
• Committed to working safely and following compliance requirements
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider engineering team
