Job summary

Ramsay Health Care UK is seeking an experienced Engineer to support Fitzwilliam, Thorpe Wood and Boston West hospitals across Peterborough and Boston. The role covers planned maintenance, breakdown support and safety compliance across multiple sites.

You will work to ensure high standards of plant operation, coordinate with external contractors, and assist with Legionella and fire safety audits. This is a full-time opportunity with on-call requirements and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Part 3, HNC or NVQ Level 4 in mechanical/electrical engineering preferred.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with multi-site exposure.
• Knowledge of Legionella prevention in hospital buildings encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide planned preventative maintenance and reactive support across sites.
• Deliver technical, health, safety and environmental support.
• Escalate complex issues and coordinate with external contractors.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance, manage permit-to-work processes.
• Support audits for Legionella, Fire Safety and overall safety.
• Review fault logs and allocate resources to tasks.
