Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership to the facilities operations team, ensuring effective communication, workload planning and consistent service delivery.
• Oversee cleaning, waste management, postal services, room setups and general facilities coordination.
• Manage cleaning and waste contracts across multiple sites, monitoring service standards and contractor performance.
• Ensure KPIs, SLAs, budgets and compliance requirements are consistently achieved.
• Monitor contract finances, manage expenditure and identify opportunities to improve value for money.
• Support operational planning and develop improvement plans aligned with wider organisational objectives.
• Oversee health and safety compliance, including audits, risk assessments and corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly performance and financial reports for senior management.
• Support staff development, training and wellbeing, creating a positive and collaborative team environment.
