Multi-Site Facilities Manager - Build to Rent

Job summary

Cobalt Recruitment is partnering with a market-leading property owner and operator to appoint a Facilities Manager into its expanding Build to Rent portfolio. This client-side role owns operational facilities, maintenance and compliance across a growing residential estate, with regular site visits in a hybrid pattern.

You will manage hard and soft FM services, ensure contractor performance, and maintain PPM schedules and CAFM documentation while liaising with central teams and on-site staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in Facilities Management or property operations.
• Experience managing multi-site portfolios is preferred.
• Experience with contractor management and compliance.
• Comfortable with CAFM systems and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day facilities management across multiple Build to Rent developments.
• Conduct regular site visits and liaise with on-site teams.
• Oversee hard and soft FM services and contract performance.
• Maintain statutory maintenance, PPM schedules, and compliance records.
• Develop lifecycle maintenance plans and costings.
• Monitor health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Prepare reports and escalated issues for the Senior Facilities Manager.
• Support refurbishment and improvement projects and cost control.
