Job summary

Maersk is seeking an experienced Area Facilities Manager to lead management of office, warehouse and depot facilities across the UK and Ireland. Based in Liverpool or East Midlands Gateway, with regular travel to all sites, you will ensure safe, compliant, well-maintained workplaces that support operations and employee experience.

You will oversee leases, services, budgets and improvements, manage the reception team and collaborate with HSE, Legal, Corporate Real Estate and landlords to deliver

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-site facilities management across office, warehouse and depots.
• Strong understanding of leases, renewals, exits and dilapidations.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, contracts and service providers.
• Excellent stakeholder management across dispersed sites and functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage property portfolio, lease reviews and renewals with Legal and Corporate Real Estate.
• Assess facilities requirements and plan space utilisation to support growth.
• Lead procurement and contract management for facilities services.
• Maintain supplier/landlord relationships and drive continuous improvement.
• Own budgets, forecasting and cost control; track commitments and opportunities to reduce costs.
• Partner with leaders to deliver improvements supporting operations and employee experience.
• Plan refurbishment, maintenance and compliance programs with necessary inspections.
• Lead and develop reception team to provide professional service.
• Promote sustainable practices like energy efficiency and waste reduction.
