Job summary

W Talent exclusively represents a well-established manufacturing company seeking a permanent Handyman to support day-to-day maintenance and upkeep across two sites. You will work with the Engineering team to perform routine checks, identify faults and ensure safety and compliance within a busy manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience in handyman, caretaker or facilities roles and can take ownership of site condition and functionality across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, practical experience in facility or building maintenance.
• Experience across two sites is advantageous.
• Ability to maintain compliance and safety records.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general handyman and basic maintenance tasks across facilities.
• Complete routine facility and compliance checks at both sites.
• Record checks (legionella, water testing, temperatures, meters).
• Perform emergency lighting, fire door and alarm checks.
• Identify faults and raise engineering reports in Agility.
• Coordinate with engineering for repairs and contractor work.
• Maintain stock and ensure tools are stored properly.
• Support audits and site safety procedures.
