PRS Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced Handyman to join a well-established organisation in London. The successful candidate will perform general site maintenance, reactive repairs, painting and decorating, basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical work, and assist with safety checks.

This is a full-time role (38 hours/week) with a salary of £28,000 per annum. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance and repairs across a site.
• Hands-on, reliable and adaptable with ability to work independently.
• Comfort working as part of a facilities and maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and repairs across the site.
• Painting and decorating.
• Basic carpentry and joinery.
• Basic plumbing including water treatment duties.
• Basic electrical maintenance and repairs.
• Cleaning and maintaining air handling units.
• Carrying out emergency lighting and fire alarm checks.
• Furniture repairs and maintenance.
• General fabric maintenance.
• Responding to reactive maintenance requirements.
• Ad-hoc maintenance duties as required.
• Work collaboratively with the facilities and maintenance team.

PRS Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Handyman to join a well-established organisation in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a practical and reliable maintenance professional with a strong understanding of general building maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring the site is maintained to a high standard.

Job Title: Handyman
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Hours: 38 hours per week
Working Hours: Monday-Thurs 7:30-16:00, Friday 7:30-14:00, plus one Sunday per month
Location: London

Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and repairs across the site
• Painting and decorating
• Basic carpentry and joinery
• Basic plumbing, including water treatment duties
• Basic electrical maintenance and repairs
• Cleaning and maintaining air handling units
• Carrying out emergency lighting and fire alarm checks
• Furniture repairs and maintenance
• General fabric maintenance
• Responding to reactive maintenance requirements
• Carrying out any other ad-hoc maintenance duties as required
