Job summary

PRS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Handyman to join a well-established organisation in London. The role covers general maintenance, repairs, painting, basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical tasks, and safety checks within a site.

• Experience as a Handyman or maintenance operative.
• Practical skills across building trades and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and repairs across the site.
• Paint and decorate as required.
• Perform basic carpentry, joinery, plumbing and electrical tasks.
• Conduct checks on emergency lighting and fire alarms.
• Maintain air handling units and general fabric upkeep.
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests and assist the team.

PRS Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Handyman to join a well-established organisation in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a practical and reliable maintenance professional with a strong understanding of general building maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring the site is maintained to a high standard.

Job Title: Handyman

Salary: £28,000 per annum

Hours: 38 hours per week

Working Hours: Monday-Thur 7:30-16:00, Friday 7:30-14:00, plus one Sunday per month

Location: London

Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and repairs across the site
• Painting and decorating
• Basic carpentry and joinery
• Basic plumbing, including water treatment duties
• Basic electrical maintenance and repairs
• Cleaning and maintaining air handling units
• Carrying out emergency lighting and fire alarm checks
• Furniture repairs and maintenance
• General fabric maintenance
• Responding to reactive maintenance requirements
• Carrying out any other ad-hoc maintenance duties as required
• Working alongside other members of the facilities and maintenance team
