Job summary

BlupaceTech is seeking a Desktop Technician to deliver day-to-day IT support across multiple UK locations within the Corby catchment. You will handle desk-side troubleshooting, ticketing, and hardware maintenance while coordinating with the service desk for incident resolution.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, 3–5 years IT experience, and skills in Windows 10/11, Active Directory, MS Office 365, and VDI/Citrix environments. No sponsorship is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• CompTIA A+ and MCP or better preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant IT experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Active Directory, GPOs, MS Office 365, PC hardware installation and troubleshooting, thin clients, VDI, Citrix client, antivirus, and helpdesk systems.
• Basic understanding of network devices and ITSM tooling, especially ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Provide first/second level contact and resolution for customer issues.
• Work with vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
• Maintain timely issue status updates and ticket documentation.
• Install, upgrade, and support Windows 10/11, MS Office 365, Cisco Jabber and other desktop apps.
• Support Apple macOS users at a basic level.
• Install and troubleshoot printers, hardware and peripherals.
• Perform preventative maintenance on computers and devices.
• Manage on-site hardware procurement and deployments; coordinate with service desk and third-party providers.
• Provide remote site network support and incident diagnostics as required.
