People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Multi-Drop Van Driver to join our Paisley-based client. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced driver seeking regular Monday to Friday work and guaranteed minimum hours.

The role involves multi-drop deliveries to local shops, warehouse duties including loading/unloading, and potential for permanent employment. Shifts are Mon-Fri, 07:00 starts, with weekly pay and immediate starts.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Cat B driving licence.
• No more than six penalty points.
• No DR or DD endorsements due to insurance rules.
• Experience in van driving/multi-drop deliveries.
• Good knowledge of local roads and delivery routes.
• Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Customer-focused and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries to shops within the local area.
• Drive company vans safely and efficiently between delivery locations.
• Plan and follow delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries.
• Load and unload the van safely.
• Check paperwork and ensure correct goods delivered.
• Provide professional customer service at delivery points.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks.
• Support warehouse operations as needed.

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Multi-Drop Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Paisley.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Multi-Drop Van Driver looking for regular Monday to Friday work, guaranteed minimum daily hours and the opportunity to secure a permanent position with a well-established employer.

The role will involve multi-drop deliveries to shops within the local area, alongside warehouse duties including loading and unloading vehicles and general manual handling.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Multi-Drop Driver, Van Driver, Delivery Driver, Courier Driver, 3.5 Tonne Driver, Warehouse Operative or Warehouse Assistant.

Rates of Pay

• £13.10 per hour
• £15.00 AFTER 12 WEEKS

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Multi-Drop Van Driver, your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Completing multi-drop deliveries to shops within the local area
• Driving company vans safely and efficiently between multiple delivery locations
• Planning and following delivery routes to ensure goods are delivered on time
• Loading and unloading the van safely and efficiently
• Checking delivery paperwork and ensuring the correct goods are delivered to each location
• Providing professional and friendly customer service at delivery points
• Completing daily vehicle safety checks before and after each shift
• Carrying out manual handling duties, including lifting and carrying products
• Returning to the depot following completion of the delivery route
• Supporting warehouse operations when required
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Multi-Drop Van Driver, you will need:

• A valid UK Category B Driving Licence
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
• No DR or DD endorsements due to insurance restrictions
• Previous van driving and/or multi-drop delivery experience
• Good knowledge of local roads and the ability to follow delivery routes
• Excellent timekeeping and reliability
• The ability to carry out heavy lifting and manual handling duties
• A professional and customer-focused approach
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple deliveries throughout the day
