Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for our SouthamptonHome Delivery team. The role is full-time and permanent with a 48-hour week, starting at 06:00 across any 5 of 7 days.

You will deliver to customer premises, maintain driving records, and ensure correct products and documentation are provided. DBS check may be required, with CPC training and ongoing development supported.

Qualifications

• Experience with multidrop deliveries.
• Strong customer service skills, both written and verbal.
• UK driving licence with Cat C entitlement and clean record (no excessive points).
• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver stock to customer premises (room of choice) on multidrop basis.
• Maintain accurate driving/working time records per WTD regulations.
• Operate company vehicles safely, legally and efficiently.
• Ensure products are checked off and customers receive correct items and delivery docs.
• Keep customers informed of estimated delivery times and communicate any issues politely.
