Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Southampton (SO16 0YU) is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a full-time, permanent Home Delivery role with a 48-hour week and 06:00 start. Five of seven days are required.

You will deliver stock to customer premises, maintain records using Tachomaster and Tachograph, and ensure correct deliveries with proper documentation. GXO offers training, pension, healthcare, and discount programs.

Qualifications

• Multidrop deliveries to customer premises.
• Full UK driving licence with category C entitlement.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph up to date.

Responsibilities

• Delivering stock to customer premises (room of choice) on multidrop basis.
• Maintain accurate driving/working time records using the Tachomaster system and manual entries to record all working hours as required by the WTD regulations.
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner.
• Ensure all products are checked off the vehicle and the customer receive the correct products and delivery documentation.
• Keep customers informed of their estimated time of delivery and where issues occur communicating in a polite and courteous manner.
