National Trust is seeking a Holidays Manager to oversee a portfolio of cottages in the North East. You will lead a regional team, manage budgets and coordinate maintenance across properties to ensure guest satisfaction and high presentation standards.

The role includes frequent travel within the North East, a mix of office and on-site work, and collaboration with contractors and internal teams to grow the holidays offer.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-site teams and managing diverse portfolios.
• Strong budget, forecasting and financial control capabilities.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and operational compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multi-site team across cottages in the North East.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and commercial targets for the portfolio.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure high property standards.
• Deliver a positive guest experience and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Coordinate maintenance with contractors to keep cottages guest-ready.
• Support business development, planning and marketing opportunities.
• Ensure safety compliance and adherence to NT policies.
