Job summary

National Trust for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty seeks a Holidays Assistant Manager to ensure guests have their best possible break at a Trust place. You’ll answer questions, follow procedures, and work with local teams to keep standards high across sites.

You’ll supervise caretakers, manage rotas and stock, support recruitment and training, and help keep service levels safe and consistent, including occasional weekend work.

Qualifications

• Experience in holiday business operations.
• Ability to communicate with diverse customers and staff.
• Experience supervising teams and coordinating rotas.

Responsibilities

• Answer guest questions and uphold service standards.
• Supervise caretakers and provide training and coaching.
• Coordinate bookings, changes, and housekeeping tasks.
• Manage stock, procurement, and store controls.
• Assist recruitment and induction of new staff.
