Hawk Hiring in Royal Tunbridge Wells is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join a premier Kent dealership group. The role offers a guaranteed base salary and real opportunity to progress through manufacturer training.

You will gain multi-brand experience, EV/hybrid certification, and mentorship from senior technicians while working a standard Mon-Fri schedule with a fair Saturday rota. Commutable from nearby towns with secure staff parking and benefits including a pension and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• 1+ years of professional experience as a Vehicle Technician, Junior Mechanic or Fast-Fit Professional.
• Confident with basic servicing, brakes, suspension and light mechanical work.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Eager to learn multi-brand platforms and progress within the workshop.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out routine vehicle maintenance, precision servicing and light repairs across multi-brand fleets.
• Performing multi-point health checks, MOT preparation work and component replacements.
• Road-testing vehicles to ensure right-first-time dealer standards.
• Gaining hands-on experience with diagnostic software and high-voltage systems.
• Collaborating with senior technicians to maintain efficient workshop flow.
