Hawk Hiring is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician in Coventry at a premier main dealer. You will perform manufacturer-scheduled maintenance, diagnose complex vehicle issues, and engage in extensive upskilling with EV/Hybrid training.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ/IMI Level 3, have dealer or busy workshop experience, a full UK driving licence, and a focus on right-first-time quality. Expect competitive pay, pension, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Proven diagnostic fault-finding and engine/major component repair experience.
• Experience in main dealer or busy independent workshop.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, warranty repairs and servicing per manufacturer schedules.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical and software issues using brand interfaces.
• Perform timing chains, clutches, engine overhauls and gearbox work.
• Complete multi-point VHCs and accurate electronic job cards.
• Work with advisors and parts staff to maintain workshop flow.
