Job summary

Hawk Hiring is seeking a skilled automotive technician for a full-time, permanent role in the Bexhill-on-Sea area. The position involves servicing, diagnostics and repair across traditional and high-demand EV platforms, backed by manufacturer training.

You will work Monday to Friday with a 1-in-3 Saturday rotation, earning a £40,000 base with realistic £45,000 OTE through performance bonuses and upsell opportunities. Free parking and excellent benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent time-served experience).
• Proven hands-on workshop experience in a main dealership or busy independent garage.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, scheduled maintenance and vehicle health checks to manufacturer guidance.
• Utilise modern diagnostic tools to locate, trace and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Perform core mechanical repairs: timing belts/chains, clutches, brakes, suspension and steering components.
• Work on modern Hybrid and fully Electric vehicles with official EV training.
• Maintain clean bay standards and right-first-time fix quality.
