Job summary

Stockport Council is seeking an Early Help Advisor to join the MASSH hub, coordinating early help, SEND and CAMHS referrals. You will triage referrals by telephone and liaise with parents and professionals to signpost or refer families to the right services.

The role includes delivering multi-agency training and ensuring clear, timely recording of information. The post is 18.5 hours per week, part-time, permanent, based at Fred Perry House.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a multi-agency environment with safeguarding awareness.
• Strong communication skills with parents and professionals.
• Experience of completing Early Help or similar assessments.

Responsibilities

• Telephone triage early help, SEND and emotional wellbeing referrals.
• Signpost or refer families to appropriate services; provide guidance to parents and professionals.
• Deliver multi-agency training and record information concisely and promptly.
