Job summary

Emplyfy is seeking an experienced IT Service Engineer to join its MSP team in the United Kingdom. The role covers remote and on-site support for high-profile customers, focusing on troubleshooting and customer interaction across diverse IT environments.

Key requirements include 5+ years in IT engineering/support, mandatory Cyber Essentials and GDPR compliance, strong Microsoft 365 experience, and Azure/Windows Server proficiency. Competitive salary £30,000–£40,000 with 40 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Mandatory Cyber Essentials and GDPR security standards implementation experience.
• Strong Microsoft 365 experience (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) mandatory.
• Azure administration and implementation experience.
• Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, including Group Policy and security settings.
• Knowledge of Windows 10/11 and macOS.
• Experience with imaging and client builds.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and act as primary contact for customers.
• Attend customer premises to resolve incidents and perform planned maintenance.
• Manage support requests from logging to resolution via the Service Desk tool.
• Communicate progress to customers within agreed SLAs.
• Escalate high-priority incidents as needed.
• Plan daily activities and meet timelines for tasks.
• Monitor environments to maintain performance and service levels.
• Install, configure, maintain and repair IT hardware and software.
• Keep service records, tickets and documentation up to date.
• Respond to critical incidents on-site and remotely.
