Job summary
Emplyfy is seeking an IT Service Engineer to join its MSP team in Weybridge. You will deliver professional technical support remotely and on customer sites, handling incidents, planned maintenance, and service desk workflow.
Must have 5+ years in a similar IT role with Cyber essentials and GDPR compliance, plus strong Microsoft 365 experience. Responsibilities include on-site visits, SLA-driven support, and collaboration with external providers.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in IT engineering/support
- Mandatory Cyber essentials and GDPR compliance experience
- Strong Microsoft 365 experience (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) mandatory
- Azure administration experience required
- Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 with GPO and security settings
- Knowledge of network infrastructure (Routers, switches, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls)
- Experience with imaging and client builds
- Experience coordinating with external service providers
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support as primary contact for customers
- Attend customer premises to resolve incidents and perform maintenance
- Manage service requests from logging to resolution via Service Desk tool
- Communicate progress to customers within SLA
- Escalate high-priority incidents when necessary
- Plan daily activities and meet timescales
- Monitor customer environments for performance and service levels
- Install, configure, maintain and repair IT hardware and software
- Keep service records and documentation up to date
- Respond to critical incidents on-site and remotely
