Job summary

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Exercise and Rehabilitation Assistant for our Musculoskeletal Outpatient Physiotherapy Service. The role covers hours at Bognor War Memorial Hospital MSK Outpatients and Worthing Hospital MSK Outpatients, with potential travel to other local sites.

You will deliver 1:1 exercise programmes and group rehabilitation, working with Physiotherapists and the Gym Rehab team.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare is desirable but not essential.
• Good communication skills are required, and an understanding of human physiology and mechanics would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver rehabilitation programmes including 1:1 and group classes for patients.
• Deliver 1:1 exercise programmes and group rehabilitation within well-equipped rehab gyms.
• Work alongside Physiotherapists, Hydrotherapy and Gym Rehab teams while supporting students on placement where applicable.
