East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust in Lewes invites applications for a Physiotherapy Assistant to support our MSK Outpatient Physiotherapy team in Lewes and Newhaven. You will work with qualified physiotherapists to guide patients through rehabilitation, both one-to-one and in group sessions, helping them reach their goals.

Responsibilities

• Support patients throughout their rehabilitation following injury or surgery, both one-to-one and in group exercise sessions within a gym or class environment.
• Work with individuals on a one-to-one basis and, as patients progress, support them in group exercise sessions.
• Provide administrative support, coordinate local ordering processes, liaise with clinical teams, and help maintain departmental supplies and equipment.
• Support departmental health and safety activities, audits and the smooth day-to-day running of the service.
• Contribute effectively to the wider physiotherapy team.
