Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Physiotherapy Associate Practitioner (Band 4) to support MSK outpatient services, hydrotherapy and ward-based activities at Wexham Park Hospital. The post includes providing group classes, 1:1 sessions, and weekend rota coverage for orthopaedic patients, with opportunities to contribute to a busy physiotherapy service.

The role involves assisting qualified physiotherapists, applying exercise programmes, and maintaining patient records.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English required.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Exercise qualification such as REPS registration or equivalent.
• Experience delivering group exercise sessions and supervising patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering care to patients under physiotherapist supervision.
• Deliver group exercise sessions and hydrotherapy activities.
• Provide 1:1 sessions including exercise instruction and assessment.
• Manage a small patient caseload and assist with initial assessments and discharge planning.
