Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust in Slough is seeking a Physiotherapy Assistant (Band 3) to support inpatient rehabilitation at Wexham Park Hospital. 37.5 hours per week, to include weekend rota, with supervision from qualified physiotherapists.

The role requires good communication, time management and IT skills. Band 3 progression potential within an established NHS physiotherapy team and strong emphasis on MDT collaboration.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent qualification to demonstrate numeracy and literacy.
• NVQ3 or equivalent experience.
• Associate member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
• Documented evidence of CPD.

Responsibilities

• Assist rehabilitation for medical patients under supervision of qualified physiotherapists.
• Carry out mobility and balance assessments as instructed.
• Progress patients’ mobility and exercise programmes.
• Independently manage and discharge appropriate patients.
• Participate in MDT handovers and patient reviews.
