Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Physiotherapy Assistant to join the team at Wexham Park Hospital. The role involves ward-based rehabilitation, assisting the physiotherapy team across departments and delivering patient-focused care for a range of conditions.

Applicants should be able to attend face-to-face appointments and work under supervision, providing general support, patient handling, and data entry. The post emphasises flexible working patterns to meet service needs.

Qualificações

• To provide general support in the area of work under the direct/indirect supervision of a qualified physiotherapist.
• Supervision may be provided on the ward, in the department after treatment or by telephone/bleep access.
• To assist in the care of patients within the Rehabilitation Department, Medical, Orthopaedics and Acute Stroke Unit wards.

Responsabilidades

• Provide general support to the physiotherapist under supervision.
• Supervise patient activities and assist with 1-to-1 exercise programmes.
• Assist patients with personal care including toileting and dressing.
• Take patient information handover on the Ward from nursing staff.
• Maintain records of work and daily statistics.
• Check and maintain stock levels of stationery and equipment.
• Communicate complex patient information to MDT members.
• Develop skills using IT in the clinical setting.
