Job summary

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Team Lead Physiotherapist for the MSK Outpatient Service, primarily based at the Montagu site and community hubs. You will lead clinical governance, manage a complex caseload and waiting lists, and provide line management and coaching to the department.

• Diploma or degree in physiotherapy with HD or MSc option.
• Leadership training and capacity to supervise teams.
• Significant post-registration MSK outpatient experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational management and leadership to the team.
• Manage own complex caseload with high-standard assessment, treatment and advice.
• Oversee waiting lists and monitor performance against KPIs.
• Provide line management, coaching and development support.
• Ensure clinical governance is integral to service delivery.
• Use resources efficiently and effectively.
• Support Service Lead in developing the wider MSK service.
• Promote distributed leadership and QII methods.
• Act as a point of contact for other agencies on therapy provision.
• Work with health, social care and local authorities.
• Represent the therapy team and contribute to the wider Trust service.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop the service.
