Job summary

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Team Lead Physiotherapist to lead the MSK Outpatient Service, delivering evidence-based assessment and treatment across a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. The post is predominantly based at the Montagu site with community hubs.

Qualifications

• Extensive MSK experience with evidence-based practice.
• Experience leading and managing a clinical team.
• Ability to manage waiting lists and KPIs.
• Commitment to continuing professional development and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational management and leadership to your team.
• Manage own caseload and to provide a high standard of assessment, management, treatment and advice to meet the needs of patients.
• Act as a point of contact for other agencies for issues relating to Therapy provision.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues in health, social care, local authority and other agencies to meet the needs of patients.
• Ensure the efficient and effective use of resources available within the team.
• Work with other members of the team in the development of the service.
• Ensure Clinical Governance is integral to service delivery within the specialty area.
• Represent the Therapy Team and contribute to the development of the wider Therapy service throughout the Trust.
• Manage performance of designated area/s of service within agreed KPIs
• Promote distributed leadership within entire team and embed QII methods
