Job summary

pladis is seeking an MRP Coordinator to join its UK supply chain team in Manchester. You will manage daily and weekly material requirements, run ATP and MRP processes, and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure material availability and timely production.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily and weekly material requirements to support production plans.
• Run ATP and weekly MRP planning to give suppliers visibility of demand.
• Maintain supplier relationships to ensure material availability and issue resolution.
• Balance stock availability with working capital targets.
• Identify material risks, shortages or constraints and communicate them.
• Support site KPIs: customer service, plan adherence, manufacturing efficiency.
• Coordinate with Supply Planning and Manufacturing on schedules.
• Support activity planning including engineering work, cleaning and trials.
• Maintain planning rates, production rules and system parameters.
• Provide clear communication of capacity constraints and risks.
• Ensure SAP and other systems data stay accurate and up-to-date.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and data issues.
• Support stock-counts and inventory reporting.
• Participate in cross-functional projects with NPD and site improvements.
• Help minimise write-offs and maximise stock utilization during changes.
• Contribute ideas to simplify processes and improve service levels.
• Develop capability to cover wider supply chain activities as needed.
