Victrex is seeking a commercially minded Site Stores Manager to lead manufacturing purchasing and inventory, ensuring critical assets are available while driving value and continuous improvement. You will build strong supplier relationships, lead teams and deliver tangible business results in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires experience in purchasing, sourcing, negotiation and data-driven decision making with a focus on MRO spend and value delivery.

Qualificações

• Proven purchasing, sourcing and negotiation experience.
• Strong commercial acumen and focus on value delivery.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory management, MRP or ERP systems.
• Ability to influence and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Drive for continuous improvement and challenging the status quo.

Responsabilidades

• Manage purchasing and inventory processes, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and external standards.
• Drive sourcing, tendering and competitive bidding for MRO expenditure, delivering best value and cost savings.
• Analyse spend data and produce reports to identify opportunities and support decision making.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships within a supplier management framework.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement improvements as required.
• Manage contracts with MRO service providers, including renewals and transitions.
• Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities through negotiation and supplier engagement.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
