Qualifications

• Proven purchasing, sourcing and negotiation experience.
• Strong commercial acumen and a focus on delivering value.
• Experience working with purchasing, inventory management, MRP or ERP systems.
• The ability to influence and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing and inventory processes, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and external standards.
• Drive sourcing, tendering and competitive bidding activities for MRO expenditure, delivering best value and measurable cost savings.
• Analyse spend data and produce reports to identify opportunities, prioritise activity and support decision making.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships in line with an established supplier management framework.
• Monitor supplier performance against agreed service levels and implement improvements where required.
• Manage contracts with MRO service providers, including renewals, transitions and performance management activities.
• Identify and implement innovative cost reduction opportunities through effective negotiation and supplier engagement.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, performance and service delivery.
