Job summary

Key responsibilities include leading supplier negotiations, improving procurement processes, and ensuring materials availability while mitigating risks. Strong Excel, ERP and analytical capabilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous procurement, purchasing or supply chain experience in manufacturing or engineering.
• Strong MRP/ERP systems knowledge and practical experience.
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
• Experience forecasting demand and managing inventory requirements.
• Strong supplier management, negotiation and commercial skills.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of procurement performance, control and continuous improvement
• Leading supplier development, negotiations and sourcing activities
• Improving MRP accuracy, purchasing processes and system automation
• Monitoring procurement KPIs and implementing recovery plans where required
• Working closely with Operations, Production and suppliers to manage risks and material availability
