MRI Lead Radiographer

Full Time - 37.5 hours
The successful candidate will be a qualified Radiographer and registered with the HCPC. You will have experience managing a team of Radiographers or be an existing Lead MRI Radiographer within the NHS or Private Healthcare Service in the UK. You should demonstrate your ability to take accountability for developing a department and managing a team. The role involves leading on clinical aspects, training, competencies, QA, MRI safety investigations, and ensuring the MRI team stays current with practices and protocols.

As the Lead, you will set standards for an exemplary patient experience by being present in a clinical capacity, while also handling operational duties to ensure departmental excellence alongside other modalities within the diagnostic service.
Alongside clinical responsibilities, you will undertake additional duties to support the Imaging Services Manager, including audits, financial reviews, budget setting, and staff resourcing. A flexible, enthusiastic approach and good priority management are essential. RPS training is desirable but not essential. Adherence to guidelines set by the CQC, IR(ME)R, and other regulatory bodies is crucial for maintaining a safe patient environment.
You will be accountable for the MRI service, and experience in a similar environment is beneficial but not essential.
