Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our Oxfordshire site. You will support a four-day weekend pattern, starting on a Monday-Friday onboarding phase, then joining a weekend engineering team to maintain high standards of quality, productivity and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Science or a related discipline.
• Proven ability to identify root causes, solve technical problems and implement sustainable solutions.
• Experience in a manufacturing, production, engineering or operational environment.
• Strong project management and continuous improvement capability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Able to work independently and take ownership through to resolution.
• Collaborative mindset across functions and levels.
• Experience with manufacturing process development or equipment implementation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Investigating and resolving manufacturing issues using structured engineering methodologies.
• Support manufacturing operations to maximise quality, efficiency, productivity and output.
• Lead and deliver continuous improvement initiatives with measurable benefits.
• Manage engineering projects, including process improvements, engineering changes and capital investments.
• Work with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and NPI.
• Own manufacturing challenges and drive solutions to implementation.
• Develop, introduce and optimise manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Leverage digital technologies to enhance performance and quality.
• Support readiness for new products and process developments.
• Contribute to Siemens Healthineers' Zero Harm culture.
