Job summary

DMA Group in Ascot is seeking a MRF Manager to lead the daily operations of a busy Materials Recovery Facility. You will ensure safety, efficiency and quality while meeting operational targets.

You will manage a team of over 20 staff, drive continuous improvement, and oversee maintenance planning, waste processing, and stakeholder coordination to maximise recyclate yields and site performance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing MRF and RDF facilities in high-volume environments.
• Proven ability to lead large operational teams.
• Strong knowledge of plant equipment used in MRF operations.
• WAMITAB /COTC Level 4 qualification is essential.
• NEBOSH qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the MRF and RDF facility.
• Oversee shift operations to meet targets and quality standards.
• Ensure Health & Safety compliance; investigate incidents and implement actions.
• Plan preventive maintenance, plant shutdowns and routine cleans.

MRF Manager (Materials Recovery Facility)

As a MRF Manager, you will lead and oversee the daily operations of a busy Materials Recovery Facility (MRF).

You will be responsible for ensuring operational targets and objectives are consistently achieved, maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and quality.

You will manage and support a team of over 20 staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the MRF and RDF facility, covering processing mixed C&D and C&I wastes.
• Oversee and coordinate shift operations to meet company targets and quality standards
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations; conduct investigations and implement corrective actions following incidents/accidents
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance (PPM), plant shutdowns, and routine cleans to ensure maximum plant availability
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the facility to enhance efficiency and operational effectiveness
• Sale of all recyclate
• Cost control to budget and variance analysis, productivity to budget and site KPI's,
• RDF production to offtake

About You

• Extensive experience managing MRF and RDF facilities, ideally in high-volume, multi-shift environments
• Demonstrable experience managing large operational teams
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicles and plant equipment used within MRF operations
• WAMITAB /COTC Level 4 qualification (essential)
• NEBOSH qualification (preferred)
