Job summary

Job description

MRF (Materials Recovery Facility) - Site Manager

• Responsible for safe and efficient running of waste management and recycling within waste transfer station.
• Controlling production input and output, ensuring processes run smoothly and managing expectations (outputs include crushed concrete/brick, soil, etc).
• On site Health & safety monitoring and ensuing compliance with legislation.
• Controlling budgets and attending meetings
• Direct interface with clients to assist with the resolution of customer concerns.
• Work to improve site layout and operations.
• Producing / reporting to Manager as required.
• Sampling/analysis of waste where required.
• Write and implement operational policies to provide continuous improvement.
• Management and development of MRF various staff
• Build strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business. Understand customer requirements and find suitable solutions to meet those needs.
