Job summary

Great Places Housing Group is seeking a Housing and Wellbeing Officer to work with customers to promote independence and reduce homelessness. You will help identify strengths, coach towards greater self-reliance, and build strong partnerships with landlords and agencies.

The role focuses on move-on and resettlement, safeguarding, and delivering a person-centred, community-focused service in line with the Independence and Wellbeing framework.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional qualifications or willingness to study towards.
• Qualified to minimum Level 2 in English and Maths.
• Evidence of well-developed IT and keyboard skills.
• Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers to identify strengths and develop move-on plans for greater independence.
• Encourage community cohesion and celebrate diversity.
• Assist customers to access services and signpost to wider community resources.
• Coach customers to maintain occupancy agreements and understand tenure types.
• Develop partnerships with social and private landlords to support homelessness prevention.
