Job summary

YMCA East Surrey in Redhill is seeking a Housing Support Officer (Move-On) to join the Housing team. You will provide high-quality housing-related support to young people and residents, helping them move toward independent living while maintaining records and ensuring safeguarding.

The role requires excellent communication, safeguarding knowledge, and the ability to liaise with external agencies. A Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is desirable, with full driving license preferred and a 35-hour

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Minimum NVQ Level 3 standard qualification or equivalent in housing, social work or youth work.

Responsibilities

• Induct residents into their accommodation and explain license terms.
• Maintain accurate records on Pyramid, Outcome Star, and other systems.
• Provide 1-2-1 and group support to residents and assist with appointments and meetings.
• Adhere to safeguarding policies and promote resident independence.
