Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. The successful candidate is expected to report to Concord, NC three times per week, at minimum.
To strengthen our motorsports program, we are seeking a Team Simulation Support Engineer to enhance the utilization of our simulation toolchain across GM Motorsports-supported series. The primary goal is to provide engineering support that improves on-track performance. You will collaborate with race team members and fellow GM support engineers to conduct analysis studies using offline and driver-in-loop (DiL) simulations. Additionally, you will assist in developing and educating offline simulation tools, facilitate team feedback to GM simulation development entities, refine vehicle modeling inputs, and help establish baseline simulation settings for on-track events. All projects should be completed to high standards, on time, and within budget. Proficiency in simulation, a proactive approach, and a passion for accurate models are essential.
