Job summary

Cadillac Formula 1 Team is seeking an Electronics Support Engineer to join the new Silverstone Facility. You will own the electronic systems and hardware to support car operation, working to ensure data integrity, calibration and reliable performance during events.

You will prepare and operate systems at events, troubleshoot faults and contribute to improvements in procedures and processes while collaborating with a high-performance team dedicated to precision and excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or similar required.
• Trackside motorsport experience preferred.
• Experience configuring and managing motorsport data logging systems (F1 SECU).
• Experience with automotive electronic systems, CAN and sensing tech.
• Understanding of electrical schematics and wire harnessing.
• Experience with high voltage systems on hybrid/electric vehicles.
• Ability to plan and manage own workload.
• Clear communication via email and verbal.
• Self-motivated, innovative, capable of working independently to deadlines.
• Strong IT skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Contribute to open and inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electronic systems for events.
• Support operation of electronic systems at events.
• Ensure data accuracy and reliability with calibration and operation of the electronic systems.
• Ensure trackside operations and procedures are followed correctly.
• Resolve electronic system faults.
• Continuously help to improve operational processes and procedures.
