Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking a Motorhome Engineer to join a specialist manufacturer of bespoke LCV conversions in the UK. You will build and convert light commercial vehicles to customer specifications, install racks and electrical systems, and travel occasionally for on-site work.

The role offers permanent, full-time employment with a salary up to £34K, full training, modern workshop facilities, and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Experience with automotive manufacturing or vehicle conversions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and convert light commercial vehicles to customer specifications.
• Install racking, storage systems and bespoke conversion equipment.
• Fit electrical components including internal and external lighting, battery management systems.
• Carry out repairs and modifications to completed vehicle builds, occasional UK travel.
• Complete job cards and update work completed using the company's internal systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.
• Work closely with the Design & Development team to support product improvements.
• Report technical or quality concerns to the Aftersales Manager.

Up to £16.24 an hr, 40 hours a week, 28 days holiday, birthday day off, x2 medical appointments paid per year, 100% attendance in 6 months gain an extra ½ a day holiday, Employee assistance Programme, sick pay.

We are looking for a Motorhome Engineer to join a growing specialist manufacturer of bespoke LCV's. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a skilled team producing high-quality van conversions for customers across the UK.

Key Responsibilities of the Motorhome Engineer opportunity

• Build and convert light commercial vehicles to customer specifications.
• Install racking, storage systems and bespoke conversion equipment.
• Fit electrical components including internal and external lighting, battery management systems
• Carry out repairs and modifications to completed vehicle builds, including occasional UK travel with overnight stays.(This will be on an adhoc basis if the current field based engineer cant get to a customers site for what ever reason)
• Complete job cards and update work completed using the company's internal systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.
• Work closely with the Design & Development team to support product improvements.
• Report technical or quality concerns to the Aftersales Manager.
