Job Opportunity: Motorcycle Technician

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Motorcycle Technician to join a reputable Motorbike Garage in the Worthing / Hove / Brighton area.

We are seeking an experienced Motorcycle Mechanic/Technician to join a friendly team. The successful candidate will service and repair mopeds and larger motorcycles to prescribed standards.

Responsibilities include:

1. Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance on bikes
2. Diagnosing faults and performing repairs, including PDI checks, tyre changes, oil, brake pads, clutch, and tracker installations
3. Conducting road tests to ensure correct operation and stability after repairs
4. Completing all necessary documentation accurately
5. Communicating additional work or faults to colleagues
6. Test riding bikes post-repair
7. Completing work within manufacturer’s standard times where possible
8. Providing excellent customer service and advice to customers and managers
9. Maintaining a clean and hazard-free workspace
10. Keeping tools and equipment well-maintained
11. Reporting hazards to supervisors
12. Adhering to all Health & Safety standards
13. Attending training to update skills and knowledge

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a motorcycle/moped workshop – ESSENTIAL
• Knowledge of diagnostic systems
• Basic engine and electrical repair skills
