Job summary

Cox Motor Group in Lancaster is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join Lancaster Volkswagen/SEAT service department. The role involves servicing and repairing vehicles to a high standard, diagnosing faults, and road testing.

You should hold Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent and a full clean UK driving licence; an MOT licence is preferred. A generous benefits package and ongoing training are provided.

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and repairs to a high standard.
• Perform road testing and ensure proper storage and handling of parts.

You will be based at our Lancaster Volkswagen/SEAT service department.

As a technician you will be responsible for detecting and diagnosing vehicles faults to establish the work required, and ensure that the subsequent work carried out is carried out accurately and in a timely manner. You will be responsible for vehicle road testing and ensuring vehicle parts are stored and handled correctly. The ideal person will take pride in ensuring our customers are provided with the very best service. • Basic Salary is Dependent on Experience, OTE with incentives of £30,000 - £45,000 per annum
