Job summary

Jago Consultants in Warrington is assisting a prestigious car dealership in recruiting a Vehicle Technician. You will perform maintenance and repairs with a focus on quality and customer service.

The role offers a basic salary of £26,910 per year, with OTE up to £40,365 plus benefits. A Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair NVQ (or equivalent) and a full UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge to use modern diagnostic equipment.
• Capability to work to the highest quality standards.
• Great team player with strong communication skills.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in the workshop.
• Experience working to efficiency targets is preferred.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Experience in a main automotive dealer is an advantage.
• VOSA approved MOT tester is a plus.
• Must hold Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair NVQ or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle maintenance and repair tasks.
• Utilise technical knowledge to diagnose issues.
• Test, diagnose, and resolve faults efficiently.
• Suggest improvements to workshop processes.
• Work on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Inspect components for wear and tear.
• Repair and replace parts as needed.
• Liaise with customers when necessary.
• Support other Technicians in the Workshop.

As a Vehicle Technician, you will need a superb technical knowledge, a professional attitude, and will ensure that the highest quality of service is maintained.

Main Responsibilities

• Carry our vehicle maintenance and repair
• Utilising your technical knowledge
• Testing, diagnosing, and resolving faults

The Ideal Candidate
