Octane Recruitment Ltd. is recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician for a busy main dealership in Liverpool. Applicants must hold Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, and possess a current MOT Tester Licence along with a Full UK Driving Licence and right to work in the UK.

The role offers a salary up to £35,000 basic with uncapped bonus, plus an MOT uplift and overtime. Manufacturer training and progression are available as part of a supportive workshop environment.

• Must have Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (NVQ or equivalent)
• Current MOT Tester Licence (essential)
• Full UK Driving Licence and right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
• Complete vehicle repairs and replace faulty components
• Conduct electronic vehicle health checks (EVHC) and identify additional work
• Carry out MOT testing in line with DVSA regulations
• Complete job cards and workshop documentation accurately
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and Health & Safety

Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic to join a busy main dealership in Liverpool. Applicants must have previous main dealership experience, hold a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, possess a current MOT Tester Licence, a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK.

Location: Liverpool

Salary: Up to £35,000 Basic + Uncapped Bonus

MOT Uplift: Additional £125 per month

Hours: Monday to Friday, Saturdays on rota
