Job summary

Cox Motor Group in the North West invites a qualified Vehicle Technician to join one of the region's largest family-owned dealership networks. This floating role covers multiple sites, offering a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a clear path for training and progression.

You must be Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent, have prior technician experience, and hold a full UK driving licence. EV training and MOT licence are preferable.

• Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician is essential.
• EV trained preferable and MOT licence desirable.
• Full clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Detect and diagnose vehicle faults to establish required work.
• Carry out servicing and repairs to high standards.
• Road test vehicles and ensure correct handling of parts.
• Work efficiently to achieve bonus targets in a fast-paced dealership.

We are looking for people who share our passion for our brands, with experience of servicing and repairing vehicles to a high standard, and who are qualified to Level 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance Repair or equivalent. As a technician you will be responsible for detecting and diagnosing vehicles faults to establish the work required, and ensure that the subsequent work carried out is carried out accurately and in a timely manner. You will be responsible for vehicle road testing and ensuring vehicle parts are stored and handled correctly. The ideal person will take pride in ensuring our customers are provided with the very best service. As a busy and fast paced dealership, every working day will be varied with excellent opportunities to achieve your efficiency based bonuses.You will work in a friendly and dynamic environment, receiving a full induction and ongoing support. Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified to Level 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance Repair or equivalent
• Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician is essential
• EV trained preferable
• MOT licence preferable
• Full brand training will be provided as required
• Full clean UK driving licence

• Basic Salary is Dependent on Experience, OTE with incentives of £30,000 - £50,000 per annum
• Overtime available and paid at time and a half
• 31 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays, pro-rata), increasing with service up to 36 days (pro-rata)
