Job summary

Venatu Automotive is seeking an experienced Contracting Vehicle Technician (and/or MOT Tester) to join our contracting team across the West Midlands. You will service, maintain and repair vehicles for a range of dealerships and workshops, with flexible ongoing contract opportunities.

The role requires own tools, the ability to work across multiple brands, and a full UK driving license. Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00, with no weekend work; monthly rolling contracts and a supportive workshop

Qualifications

• Own tools and transport required.
• Ability to work across a variety of vehicle brands.
• Experience servicing, maintaining and repairing vehicles.
• Independent worker with high safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting, maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure reliability and roadworthiness.
• Completing job cards, maintenance records and paperwork.
• Conducting routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Support general workshop duties as required.

Salary or rate £22.00 to £25.00 per hour

Hours or shifts Monday to Fridays, 08:30am to 17:00pm

About the role

Venatu Automotive are seeking an experienced Contracting Vehicle Technician (and / or MOT Tester) to join our contracting team, supporting a range of dealerships, independent garages, and fast-fit workshops across the West Midlands. We offer ongoing contractual placements with consistent work opportunities.This is a great opportunity for skilled automotive professionals looking for flexible, ongoing contract work within a busy and varied workshop environment.

Candidates must have:

• Their own tools and transport
• The ability to work across a variety of vehicle brands
• Experience carrying out servicing, vehicle preparation, maintenance, and repairs

Key responsibilities

• Inspecting, maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure reliability and roadworthiness.
• Completing job cards, maintenance records and associated paperwork accurately and clearly.
• Conducting routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Supporting general workshop duties as required to assist the wider team.

Skills and experience required

• Level 3 Qualification or above in Vehicle Maintenance service and Repair or equivalent.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Proven experience working as a service & repair technician in a workshop environment.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
